Project Overview: Creative Headlines with Gestalt Principles

For this project, you will design 8 magazine headlines using the phrase "SAY SOMETHING", each inspired by a specific Gestalt Principle. The goal is to explore how these principles can be applied to typography and design to create visually engaging and meaningful compositions.

What You'll Do:

• Focus on the following Gestalt Principles:
  • Figure/Ground
  • Proximity
  • Closure
  • Similarity
  • Continuation
  • Good Figure/Common Fate
  • Symmetry/Asymmetry
• Design each headline on an A5 canvas (portrait or landscape), ensuring the principle is clearly demonstrated.
• Include the principle name, font choice, and a brief context for each design.

Special Feature: At least one headline must include distorted, transformed, or warped text to emphasize its principle.

The final output should be a PDF file containing all 8 designs. This project challenges you to creatively apply typography while showcasing your understanding of Gestalt principles.
